Fortis Vera exists to form men in Strength and Truth.
That strength and truth are not self-defined.
They are revealed through Scripture and centered on Jesus Christ.
This is what we believe.

Doctrine shapes direction. Truth shapes strength.
We are not building on personality, culture, or preference.
We build on Christ.

Scripture
The Authority of Scripture
We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God and the final authority in matters of faith and conduct.
“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness.”

We submit our lives and teaching to Scripture.
GOD
The Nature of God
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
“Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.”

“Go therefore and make disciples… baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”

God is sovereign, holy, just, and merciful.

Jesus Christ
The Person and Work of Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man.
“In the beginning was the Word… and the Word was God.”

“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us.”
— John 1:14
He lived without sin.
“He committed no sin.”
— 1 Peter 2:22
He died for our sins and rose bodily from the grave.
“Christ died for our sins… He was buried… He was raised on the third day.”

Salvation is found in Him alone.
“There is salvation in no one else.”

Salvation By Grace
We believe salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.
“For by grace you have been saved through faith… not a result of works.”
— Ephesians 2:8–9
Yet saving faith produces obedience.
“For we are His workmanship… created in Christ Jesus for good works.”
— Ephesians 2:10
“Faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.”

Grace saves.  Grace transforms.
The Work of The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit indwells believers and empowers them for godly living.
“Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you?”

“But when the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all the truth.”
— John 16:13
The Spirit produces fruit in the believer’s life.
“The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace…”

Strength is Spirit-empowered, not self-generated.
The Church and Discipleship
We believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to gather, worship, serve, and make disciples.
“Now you are the body of Christ.”

Christian manhood is not isolation — it is brotherhood under Christ.
Marriage & God's Design
We believe marriage is a covenant created by God between one man and one woman.
“Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.”

Jesus affirmed this design:
“Have you not read… He who created them from the beginning made them male and female.”

We affirm biblical clarity with humility and conviction.
Final Authority & Return of Christ
We believe Christ will return and establish His kingdom fully.
“This same Jesus… will come back in the same way you have seen Him go into heaven.”
— Acts 1:11
Scripture is our final authority.
“The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever.”
— Isaiah 40:8
Christ is Lord.
His Word stands.
We submit to both.
